Hit the Deck!

The 2010 Season began in Bulverde, Texas where there were two racers in the running for the coveted Mike Cupps' Topsy Turvy Award.  Michelle Bittle, in the lead racing IMOW, with Bonnie Driggers hot in second and Sammie Neel bringing up the lead.  Turn three, Michelle and her mower flipped.  It looked as if Michelle did a cartwheel, without hands!  Thank goodness, her worst injury was her wrist and hand. That's gotta hurt!!! Steve Wertheim, racing CP, caught a bump in the track in turn two, causing him and his mower to flip.  It wasn't caught on film, but it was very scary.  The EMT's were on the track immediately and Steve was taken to the hospital. He checked out with a sprained knee and NO broken bones.  Way to go Steve!
