The LSMRA 2014 Racing Season is ON!

Last year, the LSMRA was filmed for an episode of the The Edge of America: Texas with Geoff Edgers, who is the host. The air date for this program was March 14, 2013, at 11:00 EST. If you missed the airing on TV, please go to: http://www.letsmow.com/2013/03/travel-channels-edge-of-america-texas-visits-the-lone-star-mower-racing-association/  . Thank you, Bruce Kaufman, for putting this on the internet for ALL to see! We also raced at the Texas Motor Speedway in April 2013 for their Annual Ticket Holders at the NRA 500 Race. LSMRA Racers, Doyal Rice and Larry Benning, loaned their mowers to be raced in a grudge match by Kyle Petty and Rutledge Wood.

Racers have tuned up their mowers for this 2014 season. We are off to a new HIGHLY competitive season. There will be new race venues and new "ROOKIE" racers, as well as familiar stomping grounds and "old" familiar racers.

Our venues this season are (all in Texas):  Gun Barrel City, and Marble Falls. Please check this site periodically for our updated schedule and standings.

SEE YOU AT THE RACES!

Check out our schedule for dates and times!

YOU TOO can race for the Texas State Championship if you join and race with the LSMRA. Don't know how to join? Go to The Home of the USLMRA link at the bottom of this page, click on About, then Join Now. Want to BUILD a racing lawnmower? Again, visit The Home of the USLMRA and click on USLMRA Rules. You may read and/or download the Rules for all classes of racers. Want more information about racing? Go to the Heymow.com link below and get great tips on building and racing lawnmowers. Want to talk with someone in the LSMRA about how to get into racing, go to our Contact Us page and send us an e-mail with your contact information. We LOVE to talk lawnmower racing! The best way to get involved is to come to a race. Check out our Schedule and get hooked when you hear those engines ROAR! See you there!
