It is with very heavy heart and deep sorrow that the LMSRA must report that a racing legend has passed away. Mike Cupps founder and owner of ACME Mower Sports died at approximatley 11:15 pm on Saturday night 03-06-2010 in the Baylor Hospital, Dallas, Texas. Mike had battled with cancer and was surrounded by family and members of his racing family when he took his last breath.
Mike was a super great guy and master builder of mower parts for all of us in the racing community.
Mike was the Vice President of the Lone Star Mower Racing Association for many years and the owner of Acme Mower Sports. His dedication to the racers world wide with parts and assistance is a legend in our sport. Anyone who had the opportunity to meet or talk with Mike instantly met a friend.
The LSMRA family has lost a special family member with Mike's death.
